Elinor Grace Wagner, 94 years, of Grove, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Integris Grove Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma.
She was born on August 28, 1920 in Browns, Illinois to George and Lydia (Evans) Parmenter. Elinor married J. Arthur Wagner on September 13, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the Secretary to the Director of Nursing at Gravette Medical Center in Gravette, Arkansas. She enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening and flowers.
Elinor was preceded in death by her husband, J. Arthur Wagner; a son, Jim Wagner; two grandchildren, Jason Wagner and Marsha Lynn Schuler; four brothers, George Parmenter, Wayne Parmenter, Ted Parmenter, Jim Parmenter; a sister Lois Dettlesen.
She is survived by her children, John Wagner of Goodman, Missouri, Judy Coursey of Jay, Oklahoma; a brother, Bruce Parmenter of Urbana, Illinois; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss Elinor.
Memorial Service for Elinor will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 28, 2015 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. John Wagner will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in the Noel Cemetery in Noel, Missouri.
