Patsy Tommey

Patsy C. Tommey, 77, of Carthage, passed away 12:50 p.m. Saturday August 8, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Patsy was born October 29, 1937 in Van Alstyne, Texas. She was the daughter of Addie Lewis Combest and Bertha “Capps” Combest. Patsy moved to Carthage from Dallas in 1980. She was a CPA for Southwest Agency Inc., of Carthage for 35 years.

Patsy was united in marriage to Bob Tommey on April 29, 1961 in Dallas, Texas. He survives.

Other survivors include one son, Tim Tommey of Carthage, two step-sons Steve Tommey and wife June of Canadian, Oklahoma and Terry Tommey and wife Carol of Texas, one daughter Beverly Jefferis and husband Mike of Carthage. Two Sisters, Eloise Marshall of College Station, Tx and Madell Anderson of Princeton, Tx, 9 grandchildren, Nicole(Keith), Beau, Cheyenne, Rayna, Zachary, Shanae, Kolton(Missy), Blake and Claire, 4 great grandchildren Caleb, Hannah, Olivia and Elizabeth. Patsy was preceded in death by 4 brothers. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel.
