Fred E. Dawley, age 86, husband of Rachel F. Dawley for 64 years, made his transition on August 24, 2015.
Fred was born and raised in Rhode Island and resided in the Joplin area for the last 21 years. He was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. After serving his country, Fred applied his skills to area manufacturers and construction. Upon retirement, he contributed his time to community service.
Fred had 3 sons David (deceased), Larry (Shawnee, KS) and Jim (Carthage, MO), 4 grandchildren (Steven, Whitney, Nathan and Cailin) and 2 great-grandchildren (Brendan and Evelyn).
