Sharon Louise Babb, age 63, of Carl Junction, Missouri passed away Saturday August 1, 2015 at Kansas University Medical Center following a short illness.
She was born March 9, 1952 in Joplin, Missouri to Gerald and Elva (England) Lawrence.
Sharon worked at Elder Shirt Manufacturing and then pursued training in the medical field and received her CNA certificate. She worked for Freeman Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 2012.
She married Larry Babb Sr. on March 12, 1970 in Joplin, Missouri and he survives. Additional survivors include two sons; Mike Babb and wife Sherri, Joplin, Missouri, Larry Babb and wife Raquel, St. Peters, Missouri, four grandchildren; Alaina, Caleb, Kolton, Leevi, two sisters; Debbie Muir, Liberty, Missouri, Brenda Mcullem and husband Wayne, Joplin, Missouri and one brother; Gerald Lawrence and wife Sherry, Joplin, Missouri.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Thursday August 6, 2015 at the Hazel Green Cemetery near Boulder City, Missouri, with Pastor Ben Bainbridge, officiating.
