Mary Martha Morgan, 75, Neosho, passed away August 5, 2015 at Freeman West in Joplin, after courageously battling neuropathy for several years.
Mary was born May 27, 1940 in Wentworth, Missouri, the daughter of Simon and Velma (Reynolds) Fetters. She was a lifelong resident of the Diamond area and worked for 25 years as a secretary at the Diamond Christian Church and then doing alterations at Southtown Cleaners in Joplin, before retiring. Mary was a member of the Diamond Christian Church for 57 years. She was an avid sewer and enjoyed quilting.
Mary married Darwin Morgan on June 6, 1958 in Diamond, and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Penny Gibbens of Diamond and Tisha Brisbin and husband, Jon of Lamar; nine grandchildren, Kayla Anderson, Gayla Anderson, Melissa Gibbens, Michelle Gibbens and Jackson, Benjamin, Daniel, Morgan and Hannah Brisbin; and one sister, Hazel Gripka of Cassville.
