Barbara Robertson

Barbara Jean Robertson, 89, passed away August 18, 2015 at St Luke’s Nursing Home Carthage, MO. 

Barbara was born at Red Oak, MO to Harvey Arthur and Beulah Easson Arthur. She was a life time Carthage resident. She was a beautician, a realtor and she and her husband Earl owned and operated Midway Laundry in Neosho, MO. Barbara was active at the Over Sixty Center and a member of the Exchange Club, Meals on Wheels and a member of Cardinal Nation. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carthage. And active in the Altar Guild. 

Barbara was united in marriage to Earl James Robertson June 7, 1946. He preceded her in death June 28, 2004. Barbara is survived by two children, daughter Cindy Kaye and husband Mike of Chicago, IL. and son Mike Robertson and wife Pam of Joplin, MO., eight grand children Steve Short (Cristy), Kristen Hawkins (Bill), Jeff Kaye (Sharon), Melissa Stremke (Bill), Sabrina Lynch (Andy), Mikey Robertson (Latoyia), Ryan Robertson and Kirsten Robertson, eight great-grandchildren Carly Short, Kayla Beasley (Jared), Keri Pope, Tyler Hawkins, Will Hawkins, Ryan Hawkins, Arin Hawkins and Jennifer Thompson (Philip), ten great-great-grandchildren Elizabeth Beasley, Jordan Beasley, Philip Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Cambry Erdman, Ashlyn Erdman, Carson Stremke, Tristan Lynch, Trenton Lynch and Peyton Lynch, one brother Boyd Arthur (Rita) of LaRussell, MO and numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Beulah Arthur, husband Earl Robertson, daughters Donna Stuart and Stephanie Robertson and brother Howard Arthur. 

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday August 20, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home, Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service Thursday, August 20, 2015. There will be a private family burial at Red Oak Cemetery following the service. Contributions can be made to the Over Sixty Center in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
