Mary E. Barickman, 81, Goodman, passed away September 01, 2017 at Freeman Neosho Hospital, following a short illness. Mary was born March 31, 1936 in Stella, MO to Ervie and Ella May (Reese) Pogue and was a lifelong area resident. She had worked at Neosho Schools in the food service and at Kraft Foods, where she retired in 1994. She was a volunteer at the Help Center and a member of the Canopy Church.
Mary married Benjamin Charles Barickman on June 19, 1992 in Neosho. Ben precedes her in death. Mary is survived by a daughter, Romelda Patterson and husband, Terry, Goodman; three grandchildren, Phillip Patterson and wife, Bridgett, Michael Patterson and wife, Melanie and Angela Hines and husband, Brandon, 11 great grandchildren, a brother, Hermie Pogue, Neosho and a sister, Wilma Weston, Neosho.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
Services will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Pastor Jeremie Bridges will officiate. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
