Cheryl L. Schoenhofer, 63, of Parsons, died at 6:10 P.M., Sunday, February 16, 2020 at her home. She was in failing health.
She was born December 1, 1956 at Mars Hill, ME, a daughter of David, Sr. and Lois (Hallett) Cook-Copeland. She was raised at Mars Hill until elementary school, she moved to Thayer, KS. Following high school she lived in Tulsa, OK for a short time and then moved to Parsons. She worked seventeen years at the Canterbury Inn. She later began working at the Labette County Medical Center (Labette Health) in 1996.
She was united in marriage to Donnie Trammell, and they later divorced. She later married David A. Schoenhofer on July 31, 1998 at Miami, OK. He survives of the home.
She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, survivors include: one son – Nicholas Schoenhofer, and his wife, Sarah, Olathe, KS; one daughter – Heather Schoenhofer, and her husband, Rodney Campbell, Jr., Parsons, KS; six grandchildren – Ilyssa Roberts, Schoenhofer, Parsons, KS, John Roberts, Olathe, KS, Devyn Schoenhofer, Olathe, KS, Kadyn Campbell, Parsons, KS, Ashlyn Schoenhofer, Parsons; KS, two brothers – David Cook, Parsons, KS, Scott Cook, and his wife, Pam, Joplin, MO; three sisters – Kathy Ball, and her husband, John, Parsons, KS, Pam Reynolds, and her husband, Larry, Joplin, MO, Kim Waun, and her husband, Tom, Parsons, KS; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Wednesday evening, February 19, 2020 at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home.
