Rolla Jean Rigsby, 71, of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, departed this life on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in Seneca, Missouri as a result of an Automobile accident.
Rolla entered this life on July 2, 1948 in Wyandotte, Oklahoma, born to the late Alfred and Ruby (Arnold) Hollandsworth. She married Edgar Harlan Rigsby on August 19, 2006 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Rolla worked in the oil fields for several; Manager for the Bordertown Casino and Bingo in Seneca, Missouri. Her latest work was being a Nanny for her grandchildren, with whom she loved very much. Rolla really loved to paint, cook, garden, the great outdoors and especially mowing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Ivan “Bud” Cooper.
Rolla is survived by her husband, Harlan Rigsby of Richland, Missouri; three children, Robin Thurston of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, Scott Barnes and wife, Roxie of Goodman, Missouri, Rowdy Cooper and wife, Michelle of Goodman, Missouri; three siblings, Ron Hollandsworth and wife, Carolyn of Austin, Texas, Linda Oleman and husband, George of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, Larry Hollandsworth and wife, Pat of Independence, Kansas; six grandchildren, Josh, Matthew, Ashton, Garrett, Holly and Jake; twelve great grandchildren, Mirysa, Mykala, Mya, Taddy, Rory, Paisley, Cash, Clayton, Daysie, Hallie, Ellie and Tucker; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Rolla.
Visitation Services for Rolla will be From at 2-4:00 pm on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the Ozark Funeral Home in Goodman, Missouri. The family will receive friends at this time. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Goodman, Missouri. Brother James Townsend will officiate. Burial will the service in the Howard Cemetery in Goodman, Missouri.
