Sandra Lou Griffin, a lifelong resident of Neosho, entered into rest on February 16, 2020, at the age of 78, at Freeman West Health System following a short illness.
Sandra was born on January 17, 1942 in Washburn, MO, the daughter of Carl and Ruby (Alyea) Fehring. She lived her life in the Wheaton,MO and Neosho, MO areas and was a homemaker.
Sandra and Raymond Griffin were married on June 2, 1962 in Wheaton; he preceded her death on February 27, 2004.
During her life, Sandra was a member of the Sweetwater Baptist Church for over twenty years. She was noted for her cooking and everyone loved her homemade rolls and no-bake cookies.
Sandra is survived by three children: Shirley (Marty) Robbins; Rodney Griffin; and Randle (Tracy) Griffin. Additional family includes her grandchildren: Keith (Mirissa) Griffin; Kelby Robbins; Melissa Robbins; and Collin Griffin. Two great- grandchildren Wyett and Willow Griffin.
In addition to her huband, Sandra is preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Cox.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 10 am at the Chapel of Memories, Clark Funeral Homes, Neosho, MO with Bro. Tom Casady II officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemtery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Keith Griffin, Kelby Robbins, Josh Robbins, Jacob Robbins, Dexter Klier, and Nathan Cox. A visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. for family and friends at the mortuary.
The family has requested donations be made to the Sandra Griffin Memorial Fund in care of Clark Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, MO, 64850.
