Mary Lou Lebow

(From White Funeral Home)

Mary Lou (Johnson) Lebow, age 83, of Cassville, left us on February 14, 2020, from Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. Mary Lou had lived in Cassville most of her life.

She was born in Darlington, Missouri, on February 10, 1937, daughter of Billy and Sylvia (Weatherd) Johnson.

On February 24, 1957, she was united in marriage to George Lebow in Maysville, Missouri, and relocated to Cassville soon after. She was employed by Dr.’s Cridling and Barnes for many years, as well as Dr. Christy Montz before retiring. The family owned and operated Lebow’s Small Engines on Salebarn Road. George passed away in March of 2017, followed by the death of their son Randy in October of the same year. Mary Lou then went to live with their daughter, Vicki, until her recent passing.

Surviving is one son, Roger Lebow and wife Carolyn, of Kimberling City; one daughter, Vicki Irsik and her husband Mark, of Osage Beach, and Rochelle Lebow, of Cassville; special daughter, Trish McCracken, of Cassville; ten grandchildren Lindsey and Beau McDaniels, of Fairview, Ty Lebow and Gannon Lebow, of Cassville, Beth Sullivan and husband Jacob, of Osage Beach, Cory and Lyz Lebow, of Cassville, and Shu Shu, Laina and Cody Lebow, all of Kimberling City; and eleven great-grandchildren, Lexi Lou, Hazel, Cooper, Annalise, Grady, Nolan, Liara, Kelby, Jerden, Jurney and Delani.

Her family was her life and we will miss her so much. She touched many lives in Barry County and she worked hard to let everyone know she cared for their well-being. Mary Lou always welcomed you with her warm infectious smile and big hugs.

In addition to losing George and Randy, she also lost her brother Keith Johnson, sisters in-law, Nadine Sims and Billy Johnson, and grandson, Daniel Irsik.

A Lebow Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville. Please bring pictures and stories to share about Mary Lou and George.
