Janet Driskill

Janet Marie Driskill, 74, Neosho, entered into rest on February 24, 2020 at her home, following an extended illness.

Janet was born January 12, 1946 in Claremore, OK., the daughter of Vernon and Dorothea (Hall) McPheeters. She moved to Neosho 24 years ago and was a Special Education teacher for the Wheaton, Westview and Neosho school districts. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. 

Janet and Raymond Driskill were married on December 18, 1964 in Independence KS., and they shared 55 years together. 








In addition to her husband Raymond, Janet is survived by two children, Nathan and wife, Mae and Natalie Maynard; five grandchildren, Nathan Driskill, Lauren Driskill, Kristen Catolico, Dalton Maynard, Dakota Maynard and Jordyn Dodd; five great grandchildren, Joshua Cook, Remington Dodd, Iva Maynard, Embree Maynard and Oliver Dodd; two brothers, Wesley and wife, Meg McPheeters and Daniel McPheeters; and two sisters-in-law, Carol McPheeters, and Rhea McPheeters. 

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, LeRoy McPheeters and Tom McPheeters. 

Services will be Monday, March 2, 2020 at 10 am at the First Church of the Nazarene in Joplin. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence KS. 

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Neosho. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Janet may be made to Teen Challenge Neosho, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, Missouri 64850.
