Paul Douglas Murray, age 72, Joplin, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Mercy Hospital.
Paul was born November 27, 1947 in Los Angeles, California to the late Basil Murray and Dorthy Determan Murray and had lived in Joplin for two years, moving from Bella Vista, Arkansas.
Paul was a pharmacist for forty years, retiring from Family Pharmacy, Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Paul married Vanessa Cowell Wilson on June 7, 1985 in Mexico, Missouri. She survives at the home.
Additional survivors include two step children, Josh Wilson, Mexico, Missouri, Stacy Ash, Bella Vista, Arkansas; grandchildren, Neena Ash and Veda Ash; one brother, Raymond H. Murray and wife, Shelly; two nieces; and one great niece.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
