Lesli Lynne Spencer (McMullen), age 56 of Purcell, Missouri passed away at Mercy Hospital Friday, February 14, 2020 following one and a half months of rapid declining health. She was born April 29, 1963 in Joplin, Missouri to Guy Beverly (Bulger) McMullen.
Lesli was a homemaker most of her married life. She stayed at home to raise Joe A. & Rachel. She had a desire to become a Para legal attaining a Paralegal Certificate from MSSC. She was involved with Brownie and was a Cub Scout Pack Leader. She gave her heart to Jesus a few years after the kids were born. She was very unique and a rebel. She enjoyed ink pens, calendars, cats, polar bears, sleuth, tetras, mahjong, some gothic clothes and the Kiss rock-n-roll band.
She married Joe Brad Spencer on August 29, 1981 in Carthage, Missouri.
Lesli is survived by her husband Joe Brad Spencer of Purcell, MO; son Joe Asa Spencer of Copperas Cove, Texas; daughter, Rachel Walls (Jesse) of Missouri; parents, Guy and Beverly McMullen of Carterville, MO; brother, Guy Scott McMullen (Trace`) Joplin, MO.; sister, Jessica McMullen of Sarcoxie, MO.; 4 nephews and 6 grandchildren.
The family would like to extend special thanks to all that prayed for her and visitors that could see her in the hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the Faith Baptist Church in Webb City at 10:00 AM. The family will be present for a visitation from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the church.
