Alice McInturff-Wilson

Alice E. McInturff-Wilson, 85, Neosho, MO passed away February 19, 2020 after a period of failing health. She was born December 25, 1934 in Willow Springs, MO to William and Hazel Pauline (Cline) Gilstrap.

Alice lived in the Neosho, Stark City, and Newtonia areas all of her life. She was a cosmetologist in eastern Newton County for many years. Alice enjoyed knitting and crocheting, creating homemade afghans for friends and relatives. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, her pets, especially her dog, Madison, and international traveling with friends and family. Alice attended the Episcopal Church in Neosho. 

 She first married Don McInturff, then later married Carol (Bull) Wilson, both of whom preceded her in death. 








Alice is survived by one daughter, Diane McInturff of Loveland, CO; two stepdaughters, Dayna Ecker and husband, Scott of Sunrise Beach, MO and Suzanne Bowser and husband, Bruce of St. Louis, MO; two nephews, Rob McNutt and Byran McNutt, both of Vassar, KS; one niece, Donna McNutt of Joplin, MO; and two great nieces, Letitia McNutt of Burlington, KS and Hannah McNutt of Vassar, KS. 

In addition to both of her husbands, she was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Ann Angus.

Services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, February 24 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho, with J.R. Burr officiating. A time of visitation will begin at 10 am on Monday at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Dice Cemetery, Fairview, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Ecker, Bruce Bowser, Bryan McNutt, Mark Knight, Tony Anderson, and William Mulkey.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made in honor of Alice to Faithful Friends Animal Advocates, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
