Lola Bell “Wright” Green, 84, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mountain, NC. Lola was born March 4, 1935 in Sattis, WV to Jesse T. and Mabel C. “Clark” Wright. Although Lola lived in North Carolina, West Virginia and Florida, she had been a Carthage resident since 2011. She lovingly raised her children and worked in several restaurants over her lifetime.
Lola is survived by two sons, Raymond W. Green of Florida and Richard W. Green of North Carolina; one daughter, Linda M. Green of Florida; beloved nephew, Tom Wright, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Lola was preceded in death by three brothers, Art Wright, Dud Wright and Harley Wright.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Immediately following, a graveside service will be held at Fasken Cemetery, northeast of Carthage.
