Mary Ann Hewitt was born May 12, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Henry and Mary (La Garecia) Thorsdale. She entered into rest on February 10, 2020 in Neosho, Missouri, following a short illness at the age of 88 years, eight months and twenty nine days.
Mary Ann moved to the Neosho area from St. Petersburg, Florida and was a homemaker. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, crocheting, knitting and sewing.
Mary Ann married Richard Hewitt, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Glen Peters and wife, Angela of Neosho, Steven Peters of San Jose, California and David Peters of Independence, Kansas; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Mary Ann will be cremated and no services are planned.
