Carl Lumpkins

Carl Glette Lumpkins, Sr. was born May 13, 1946 in Neosho, Missouri, the son of Horace and Bertha (Thompson) Studdard. He entered into rest on February 21, 2020 in Neosho, following a sudden illness at the age of 73.

Carl was a lifelong area resident. He served in the U.S. Army and currently worked as a stocker at Ramey's Super Market in Granby. He loved to sing and play the guitar, was a huge Elvis fan and was always helping others. He was a member of the Church of Hope in Neosho. 

Carl and Polly Anna (Nelson) were married on March 5, 1972 in Neosho and she preceded him in death on July 29, 2011. 








Carl is survived by four children, Carl G. (Janaya M'lle) Lumpkins, Jr., Christy M. (David) Yeary and Sarah E. Lumpkins and fiance', Dustin Gonser and Andi Dawn (Tom) Buchanan; eleven grandchildren, Jessica D. Lumpkins, Cyle G. Lumpkins, Coda G. Lumpkins, Trenton D. Lumpkins, Tristan W. Lumpkins, Dylan S. Yeary, Dylina J. Yeary, Cyara A. Yeary, Cyana B. Yeary, MaKayla J. England and Sullivan B. Buchanan; three great grandchildren and three sisters in law, Velda Studdard, Hazel Studdard and Wayne Studdard.
