Clifford Daniels

Clifford L. Daniels 78, of Pittsburg, KS died 9:22am Saturday October 31, 2020 at the Via Christi Hospital following a short illness.

Clifford was born December 5, 1941 in Cherokee County, KS the son of Clifford E. and Esther Lena (Tanner) Daniels. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Columbus High School.

On April 9, 1960 Clifford married Mary C. Brown in Miami, OK; she preceded him in death on March 15, 2006. Clifford worked as a farmer most all his life and in addition for the City of Pittsburg at the Waste Water Treatment Center. Clifford was of the Christian Faith; he enjoyed farming, spending time with his livestock and a former member of the FFA.

Survivors include his companion of 13 years Marilyn Brown of Pittsburg, KS; children Brad Daniels and wife Rebecca of Weir, KS, Dena Davis and husband Alan of Joplin, MO and Ivan Daniels and wife Kristen of Andover, KS; grandchildren Jennifer Wilson, Derek Daniels, Emmalee Daniels and Drew Daniels; great-grandchildren Gunner Daniels, Ryder Daniels, Baylee Daniels and Hadley Wilson; special friends Mark and Julie Redd and children Adam and wife Rendi, Lucas and Taylor Redd.

Clifford was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

Graveside Services will be 10:00am Thursday November 5, 2020 at the New Pleasant View Cemetery in Cherokee County, KS with Vivian Davidson officiating. Informal visitation will be from 12-8:00pm Wednesday November 4, 2020 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Weir, KS. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Columbus FFA. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 104 W. Main St. Weir, KS 66781. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
