Jesse Roark

David “Jesse” Roark, of South Greenfield, MO, departed this life on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO at the age of 81.

He was born on September 28, 1939 in Pyatt, AR to Arlo and Zelpha (Tabor) Roark. Jesse graduated from Lockwood High School. 

He was united in marriage to Linda Kay Daughtrey on May 28, 1960 in Mt. Vernon, MO, and they celebrated their 60th anniversary this year. Jesse was a lifelong cattleman. He enjoyed working on the farm, and attending cattle sale auctions.








Preceding him in death were his parents, Arlo and Zelpha Roark; and one granddaughter, Samantha Roark.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Roark of the home; one son, Jason Roark and wife Rachel of South Greenfield, MO; one daughter, Lesa Queen and husband Mike of Lockwood, MO; and four grandchildren, Joseph Roark, Grace Roark, Hannah Roark, and Clay Roark.

Private family graveside services were held at Kings Point Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kings Point Cemetery. Services were under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
