Johnny Francisco

Johnny Floyd Francisco Sr passed away November 2, 2020 at his home in rural Neosho MO. He was born March 14, 1935 at home in the McNatt area of McDonald County MO. 

Johnny was an avid fisherman and hunter, but is best known for his faithful devotion to his wife, family, and friends. He was a man of few words, but many wonderful words can be said about him. His best buddies were his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They were his pride and joy and he was theirs. 

Johnny worked for 34 years as a heavy equipment operator for Snyder Construction Company and continued farming the rest of his life. 

 

Johnny and Barbara Hathaway were married on May 18th, 1954, she survives. 

Additional survivors include daughters, Linda Francisco Kester, Joplin MO and Terry Wilcox and husband Bob, Quapaw OK, and son, Johnny Francisco and wife Angela, Neosho MO; grandchildren, Sonny Kester and wife Annie, Minneapolis MN, Guy Wilcox and wife Carolyn, Fayetteville, AR, Jonah Wilcox, Fayetteville AR, and Joanna Francisco, Neosho MO; great grandchildren, Avery and Jackson John Kester, Minneapolis MN, Etta, Pearl, Ruth, and Theron Wilcox, Fayetteville, AR; brothers, Cecil Francisco and wife Kay, Neosho MO, Bill Francisco and wife Sue, Bainbridge Island, WA, Jack Francisco and wife Nancy, San Diego, CA, Clark (Gene) Francisco and wife Linda Kay, Neosho MO; brother-in-law, Dale Depriest and wife Shirley, Wyandotte OK; and sisters, Ella Lankford, Seneca MO, and Linda Borushaski and husband Dan, Monett MO. He had many special nieces and nephews including Lisa Scott, Purdy, MO, and Rachelle Depriest Mccaffrey, Wyandotte, OK. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theordore Leon and Dorthea Russell Francisco; daughter, Angela Ruth Francisco; brothers, Ted, C.G., and Don Francisco; and a sister, June Wise.

Services will be at 2:30 pm, Friday Nov, 6 at Clark Funeral Home Neosho. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 pm Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Howard Cemetery, Goodman MO.

Pastors Guy Wilcox, Dr. James Porter, and Randy Depriest will conduct the service.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Francisco Jr, Sonny Kester, Jonah Wilcox, Mike Francisco, Rick Scott, and Scott Francisco. Honorary pallbearers will be Cecil Francisco, Clark (Gene) Francisco, Dale Depriest, and Jerry White.
