(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)Annamaria Green, 79, was born June 22, 1944 in Pirmasens, Germany. On August 2, 2023 she went to be with the Lord. She grew up in Rodalben, Germany alongside her eight siblings.
On June 10, 1961 she married Jerry Lewis Green. She traveled with him throughout his Army career. Once he retired, they settled on a small farm just outside of Purdy, Missouri.
She loved going bowling and joined several leagues. She is a member of the Missouri State Hall of Fame for bowlers. She was also a member of the Dream Team for bowling for over 30 years.
She was a Lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 4207 in Monett and a long-time member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett.
She is survived by her two sons: Ronald Green of Purdy, Missouri and Jerry Lewis Green Jr. of Monett, Missouri; five grandchildren: Sean Paul and his wife Brittany of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, Danielle and husband Eric of Springfield, Missouri, Lyndsey and husband Rick of Neosho, Missouri, Brandon Green of Monett, Missouri, and Dee and her husband Joe of Ontario, Canada; nine great-grandchildren: Brianna and husband Dalton Foster, Morissalyn and Kovan Chew, Jordan Allen, Dalisa, Johnny, Bryan, Jason, Jaxson, Jason Green, John Green, and Jareth Crowell; and three great-great-grandchildren: Kasper Chew, Dutton Foster and Dawson Foster.
Annamaria was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Lewis Green and her son Johann Green.
Visitation for Annamaria is being held on Thursday August 10, 2023 from 1:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett, Missouri. Funeral Mass will immediately follow visitation at 3:00p.m. on Thursday August 10, 2023 at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett, Missouri with Father Rahab Isidor officiating. Burial next to her husband Jerry will follow Mass at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Monett, Missouri.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
