(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Connie Lou Kime, age 89, was born on Sept 7th, 1933 and entered into eternal life on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Mo.
She was born in Fremont, NE to Garnet and Orvaline Stafford. She was the oldest of three, she dearly loved her brother Don and her sister Joan. Connie had four children; Denise, Lane, Tammie and Chad.
In 1952, Connie graduated from Fremont High School in Nebraska. She worked at Area Agency on Aging before retiring as well as spending time at Jackson Hewitt Tax Services.
She was preceded by her parents, her sweetie Ron Kime, and sister, Joan.
She is survived by her brother Don, her children; Denise (Steve), Tammie (David), Chad (Tina), her grandchildren; Bryan, Michelle, Josh, Aaron Jack, Caleb and Ashley, great grandchildren; Skylar, Phynix, Brayden, Payton, Lily, Kyree, Marley and Zoey, and great-great grandchildren; Braxton and twin girls, Aaliyah and Aria, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the office of Russell Kennedy and Mercy Hospital.
The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary. Graveside Services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.
