Pamela Garrett

Pamela Joyce Garrett, age 64, of Wentworth, MO passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, MO. She was born in Springfield, MO on Tuesday, June 16, 1959; daughter of Albert and Mary (O'Banion) Ray. She was a member of the 1978 graduating class of Galena High School. 

Pamela married John Garrett on Monday, July 3, 1995, in Miami, OK. 

Mrs. Garrett retired from Lacoba Nursing Home where she was the business office manager. She attended Hill Creek Church in Pierce City, MO. Mrs. Garrett enjoyed crocheting, singing, and spending time with her family. She was a genuine, selfless person. She loved family get-togethers and wanted her family together as often as possible. She loved each of them so much!

Surviving are the following; her husband, John of Wentworth, MO; one son, Jason (Charlene) Williams of Monett, MO and Erin (Dustin) Stottler of Wentworth, MO; five grandchildren, Noah (Katherine) Aust, Treavor Aust, Madalyn Aust, Kylene Williams, and Hank Williams; one great-grandson, Grayson Henry; four sisters, Betty Eisley of Crane, MO, Rhonda Eutsler of Crane, MO, Janie (Fred) Daugherty of Galena, MO, and Sharon (Steve) Carter of Galena, MO; and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.

Welcoming her to heaven were her parents, Albert and Mary Ray; a brother, Carl Ray; and a sister, Carol Cameron.

A Celebration of Life will be at Hill Creek Church in Pierce City, MO on Saturday, August 12, 2023, beginning at 10:00 AM with Pastor Danny Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
