Starlie Hall

Mrs. Starlie Ann Hall, 74, of Pineville, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, in the comfort of her home after months of declining health.

Starlie entered this life on February 19, 1949, in Sweetwater, Texas, daughter of the late John and Annie Laura (Shelfer) Sturdivant. She moved with her family to Powell, Missouri, in 1964.  








On September 23, 1965, she was united in marriage to Gary Don Hall and to this union two children were born, Michael and Laura. For ten years she worked at Bear Brand Hosiery in Bentonville. Once her children were raised, Starlie began employment with the McDonald County School District in 1995 as a bus driver, nurses aide and school secretary, retiring in 2012. She enjoyed sewing, shopping, fishing and working alongside Gary Don on the family farm.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, Byron Sturdivant; and a sister, Susan Phillips.








Starlie is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Gary Don Hall of the home; two children, Michael Hall and wife, Kimberly, of Pineville and Laura Johnson and husband, Tracy, of Verona, Missouri; four grandchildren, Caitlin Hall, Jason Metcalf and wife, Makayla, Caleb Hall and Megan Metcalf; two great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Andrew Metcalf; a brother, John Sturdivant of Centerton, Arkansas; a sister, Crystal Pattyson of Rogers, Arkansas; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2023 at Union Cemetery near Longview with Pastor Jamey Cope officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
