Diane Gabucci

Dianne Marie Gabucci, age 79, formerly of Clarksdale, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at her home in Joplin, Missouri where she has resided for the past seven years. Dianne was born on February 12, 1944 to the late Dannie and Robbie Christine (Smith) Gabucci.

Dianne graduated high school in Chicago, Illinois and eventually made her way to Mississippi where she was very active in her community and her church. 

She attended Clarksdale Baptist Church where Dianne could be found serving in many areas including as the nursery coordinator and serving in the church kitchen as well. She retired as a Property Manager in Clarksdale after 23 years of service. 

For many years, Dianne was a member of the Business Professional Women Organization. More recently, Dianne and her family moved to the Joplin area where she was active in her church, Central City Christian Church.

Surviving Dianne is a son, Christopher Gabucci and his wife, Michelle of Seneca; grandchildren, Savannah Parkman and husband, Brett of Neosho, Aaron Gabucci of Seneca; sister, Joyce Jackson and husband, Mike of Joplin; brother, Ron Gabucci and wife, Judy of Longview, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and their kids that Dianne remained very close to throughout the years, always praying for and sending cards.

Other than her parents, Dianne is preceded in death by two infant siblings, Robert and Janice Gabucci.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Clarksdale Baptist Church at 401 1st Street in Clarksdale, Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in care of the mortuary.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
