(From Parker Mortuary)In loving memory of Tammie Gaye Anderson (October 20, 1959 – February 5, 2024). Tammie, daughter of Dolores and Clayton Anderson, was a proud graduate of Riverton High School, Class of 1977. She shared a life filled with love and adventure alongside her husband, Wayne (Sunny) Ernest Grey.
Tammie is survived by her cherished daughter, Heather Ferguson, and son-in-law James Ferguson of Galena, KS. Her legacy lives on through her beloved grandchildren, MaKenzie and Blake Hulsey, and Riley Ferguson. Tammie, one of 10 siblings, leaves behind a close-knit family.
Her sisters include Vickie Freeman of Neosho, MO, Karen Anderson of Joplin, MO, Dona Weber of Galena, KS, and Terrie Sewell of Olathe, KS. Tammie’s brothers are Leonard and Sharon Anderson of Galena, KS, James Anderson of Riverton, KS, and William and Jackie Anderson of Galena, KS.
Tammie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Mike and Mark Anderson, nephews Troy and Michael Anderson, great-nephews Gabriel Anderson and Raylan Weathermon, great-niece Haven Anderson, and beloved friend Max Jaeger.
Known for her love of scuba diving and the open road in her beloved truck, Tammie embraced independence. She held a special place in her heart for her “princesses,” reveling in her role as a devoted grandma. Tammie’s vibrant spirit was complemented by her love for family gatherings and a passion for the music of AC/DC.
In honoring Tammie’s memory, let us celebrate the joy, strength, and love she brought to all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at The Old Riverton Post B&B and Event Center, 7378 Southeast 70th Street Riverton, KS 66770.
