(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Charles Dale Piercefield of Quapaw, OK passed from this life Sunday, March 9, 2025 at his home. He was 85.
Charles was born July 22, 1939 in Neosho, MO to Joe Frederick and Ercell (Sherwood) Piercefield. He had lived in the Quapaw area all his life and graduated from Quapaw High School Class of 1957. Charles had worked for B.F. Goodrich in Miami, OK until it closed. He then owned and operated Chaz Auto in Quapaw, OK. He was a member of Warren’s Branch Baptist Church in Seneca, MO.
Charles was preceded in death by 1 son, Lonnie Kale Harris, his parents, 1 brother, Bobby Joe Piercefield and 1 sister, Loretta Turner.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn (Burrow) Piercefield of the home, 2 sons, Rocky Dale Piercefield of Miami, OK and David Harris of Peoria, OK, 2 daughters, Cindy Michelle Crowl and husband Mike of Oak Island, NC and Deborah Lynn Warren of Joplin, MO, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Warren’s Branch Baptist Church in Seneca, MO. Brother Jim Albers will officiate. Interment will be in Seneca Cemetery in Seneca, Oklahoma. Kent Jones, Larry Bilkie, Grant Crumball, Laverl Cory and Jimmy Riley will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
