Allene R. Lentz, 100, Neosho, died September 4, 2014 at Freeman Neosho Hospital, following a short illness.
Allene was born October 11, 1913 in Lebannon, Missouri. She graduated from Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa with her RN degree and met her husband, Dr. Harold C. Lentz in Tulsa. They moved to Neosho following WW II and spent their lives in Neosho. She was a homemaker and a member of the Neosho United Methodist Church.
Allene is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harold C. Lentz and a son, Alan Lentz. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Altizer and husband, John, Shell Knob, MO and one son, Dr. H. Calvin Lentz, Jr. and wife, Ann, Lees Summit, MO; four grandchildren, Paula Andonian and husband, Bruce, Diane Pearson and husband, David, Trey Lentz and Amanda Lentz; five great grandchildren, Alex Andonian, Jesse Andonian, Mason Andonian, Sydney Pearson and Barret Pearson.
