Terry D. Stone age 57, of Carthage, MO, entered into rest on September 29, 2014 following a battle with cancer since April of 2013.
Terry was born November 8, 1956 in Princeton, IL and raised in Bradford, IL. He graduated from Bradford High School class of 1974. He was a member of Boyd’s Grove Methodist Church Bradford, IL. He relocated to Carthage in 1979. He worked various jobs through the years, working at White Dog Restore Joplin Projects, Jasper Products, Leggett and Platt. In Carthage being the most dependable lawn service and odd job man, working from sun up to sundown. He enjoyed family gatherings and good times with friends tying all together with good food. His joys were collecting Coke products and touring the 4-States with Brother Rob.
Terry was married to Terri Lynn Kelly July 7, 2000 at Boyd’s Grove Church, Bradford, IL. she survives. Additional survivors include Daughter Mary Wood and Husband Rob Wood and grandchildren Nyia, Marcus, and Devon Stone of Chillicothe, IL. Stepdaughter Teresa Calhoun and grandson Leo Maver of Rock Falls, IL, His father Don Stone and Step Mother Linda Stone of Bradford, IL. His mother Roberta Stone and companion Bill Lamb of Diamond, MO. Sister Marilyn Wilson and husband Tom Wilson of Bradford, IL. Brother Rob Stone and wife Francie Stone of Webb City, Sister Beth Skinner and husband Brent Skinner of Diamond, MO. Step Brother Todd Anderson of Portage, IN. Step Sister Laura Togero of Dover NH. Nephews Mark Wilson of Washington DC, Adam Wilson of Bradford, IL and Cameron Skinner of Diamond, MO.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 4, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home Carthage, Missouri. Inurnment will be at Stone Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.ulmerfh.com
