Margaret “Peggy/Nanny” A. Wingert 70 of Carthage, MO passed away Friday September 26,2014 at Spring River Christian Village in Joplin, MO. Margaret was born August 5, 1944 in Ashland, Kentucky. She was united in marriage to John S. Graham from October 7, 1961 to April 6, 1990 and then she married Edward F. Wingert May 24, 1991 to December 20, 2012. She was a Day Care provider for 30 years to which she absolutely loved. She attended Carterville Christian Church and also a member of the Jasper Eagles Square Dance Club and also volunteered at the Cerebral Palsy Center in Carthage, MO. She has been a resident of Carthage, MO since October 1978 when she moved from Elkton, Maryland.
Margaret is survived by her son John Graham of Golden City, MO Three Daughters Beth Jeffries and husband Tom of Jasper, MO Tina Tilley of Carthage, MO Peggy “P.J.” Graham of Pittsburg, Kansas Two brothers Tom Mason of Guam and John Mason of the State of Ohio Two sisters Ruth Baker of the State of Texas and Lillian Stemple of the State of Pennsylvania
She is preceded in death by one brother Bob Mason and one sister Sue Dowdy
There will be a graveside service 2:00PM Tuesday September 30, 2014 at Park Cemetery Carthage, MO. The family will receive friends Monday September 29, 2014 form 6:00Pm to 7:00PM at Ulmer Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home Carthage, MO.
