Artsol Raymond Wright, 92 passed away at the Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon September 3, 2014.
Artsol was born August 1, 1922 in Ivington, West Virginia to Jesse Thomas Wright and Susie Tyree Wright. He served in the United States Navy as a See Bee. Artsol was a resident of Carthage since 1999, moving here from High Springs, Florida. Artsol was a truck driver and an Assembly of God Minister.
Artsol was united in marriage to Uzela Wright in 1946 in West Virginia, Artsol married Dorothy Wright in 1981 in Florida she preceded June 13, 1011. Artsol is survived by four children Tom Wright of Carthage, Mike Wright, David Wright and Mark Wright all of Joplin, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren, one sister Lola Green of North Carolina. Artsol is preceded by his parent’s, one daughter Carol Wright 2003 and one grandson Kenny Wright July 20, 2012.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday September 8, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday September 7, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fasken cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.ulmerfh.com. Contributions can be made to the Three Points Full Gospel Church in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
