Mabel Meyer, 94, of Carthage passed away September 22, 2014.
Mabel was born July 24, 1920 in LaRussell, MO to William N. Chapman and Jewell “Harmon” Chapman. She was a longtime Carthage resident and a homemaker.
Mabel was united in marriage to Edwin W. Meyer February 14, 1941 he preceded her in death. Mabel is survived by three daughters Ruth Jones of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Mildred Carter of Zephyrhills, FL, and Janice Duley of Joplin, MO. and also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Mabel is preceded by her husband, parents, one daughter Neoma Daggett, one brother and one sister.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday September 25, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fasken Cemetery east of Carthage. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
