Brayden Mikeal Morris was born on April 6, 2011 in Joplin, Missouri.
Brayden was born with a rare genetic condition called Cockayne Syndrome Type Two. Only 1 in 500,000 children in the world are born with it. Those who were lucky enough to meet Brayden remember his sweet smile and outgoing, loving personality.
Although Brayden faced many obstacles, he still smiled. Brayden was also a member of Northside Baptist Church in Neosho, Missouri. Brayden passed away from this illness at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri on September 11, 2014.
Brayden is mourned on earth by his parents, Jennifer Gregg and Timothy Morris; big brother, Zacariah Pickering; maternal grandparents, Sonya Gold and Allen Gregg; paternal grandparents, John Morris and Doddie Boss; aunts and uncles, Kaci Connes, Travis Gregg, Levi Gregg, Kalei Gregg, Jacob Gregg, Jon Morris and Wylliam Deveney; great grandmothers, Shirley Crowder and Dorothy Strutton; cousins, Jazmyn, Makaila, Logan, Zoey, Caitlyn, Alexandria and Alisha; and many other family and friends. He will be greeted in heaven by his grandma, Betty; great aunt, Alice Howlett; great-grandpas, Claude Stewart, Lewis Gold and Raymond “Boots” Strutton; great great grandma Rosa Mary Gregg; and cousins, Crystina Gregg and Krissy Geiger.
