Mitch, as he was known, was born September 7, 1965 in Carthage, Mo. to William M. and Donna Lea Tanner Christy. He was a graduate of Carthage High School and Missouri Southern State University. Mitch was an accomplished musician, a certified rescue diver, paramedic, and worked as a surgery technician. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.
Mitch is survived by 2 daughters; Marcella and Isabella, who he loved dearly. His father Mike and step mother Charlene, 2 brothers; Steve and wife Cherie, Gregory and wife Virginia, and a step brother Michael Kelley.
Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday October 3, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church, Carthage, Mo. with Reverend James Lee officiating. Burial will follow at the Park Cemetery, Carthage, Mo.
Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory
