Bobby Lee Eby, Galena, MO, son of George and Lena (Benham) Eby, was born on December 21, 1930 in Galena, MO and departed this life on October 15, 2019, at the age of 88.
Bobby drove a school bus for over 22 years for the Galena School District. As well as owning a few different cafés known as Bears Den, Granny Reens, and The Downtown Café.
Three weeks before he was supposed to graduate high school he joined the United States Air Force and served bravely for four years.
During his time in the military he was stationed in Alaska and New York. After his time in the Air Force he moved back to his birthplace of Galena, MO. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, Canada trips, family, and giving of himself so that others might have. He also confessed and gave himself unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, George “Bill” Eby, Paul Eby, Donnie Dee Eby; one daughter, Barbara Ellen; one granddaughter, Adrienne Nicole (Eby) Martin and one step son, Gary Dale Moore.
Survivors include: his wife, Arleen Eby of Crane, MO, three sons, George “Larry” Eby and wife, Karen of Springfield, MO, Allen Eugene Eby of Temple, Texas, Andrew Lee Eby and wife, Chelle of Carthage, MO, step sons, Doug Moore and wife, Lisa of Crane, MO and Timothy Moore of Crane, MO; step daughter, Nicole McCulloch and husband, Joe; a numerous amount of grandkids and great grandkids and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday October 26, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Graveside services will follow at the Galena Cemetery in Galena, Missouri. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
