Theresa Kelly

Theresa Carolyn Kelly, 63, Neosho, MO entered into rest on October 10, 2019. She was born April 24, 1956 in Neosho to James and Ruth (Byrd) Owens.

Theresa was a lifelong resident of the Neosho area. She was the store manager of the former McClintock’s IGA, then became assistant manager of Marvin’s IGA, and later the assistant manager of Price Cutter in Neosho. Following this she was foreman of Box Shop at Crowder Industries in Neosho until her retirement in 2012. 

Theresa was a member of St. Canera’s Catholic Church in Neosho. She was involved with the Ozark Area Girl Scouts Association and the committee to save Camp Mintahama. Theresa’s grandchildren were the light and love of her life. She adored cruises and the ocean was her second home. 








She is survived by her husband, Thomas Kelly; three daughters, Wendy Willey and husband, Kevin of Wills Point, TX, Paula Sides and husband, Benjamin of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Julie Browning of Aurora, MO; two brothers, Thomas Lee Owens of Grove, OK and Harvey Owens of Bella Vista, AR; two sisters, Alicia Pogue of Neosho, MO and Doretha Evers of Scurry, TX; ten grandchildren, Kayla Willey, Stephanie Willey, Emily Willey, and Kamiann Willey, Dominic Moreno, Ashtin Sides, Alexia Sides, Ruth Lay, Reese Sides, Isabella Sides, Dakota Browning, and Hunter Browning. 

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Ruth Reed; her father, James Owens; and two brothers, J.E. Owens and Mike Reed. 

Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Neosho, MO with visitation to follow until 7:30 pm. 

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at St. Canera’s Catholic Church, Neosho. Interment will be at Seneca Catholic Cemetery, Seneca, MO. Dakota Browning, Hunter Browning, Brandon Evers, Michael Sandlin, Jason Owens, and Edward Kelly will serve as pallbearers; Kevin Willey, Benjamin Sides, Johnny Pogue, and Terry Kelly will be honorary pallbearers.
