Mark Brumley

Mark David Brumley, age 49, of Granby, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

He was born October 5, 1970 in Neosho, Missouri the son of William “Bill” and Sue (Harvey) Brumley. On August 4, 2013 he was united in marriage to Tina Chute, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Tyler Palmquist of New Ulm, Minnesota, Brandon Palmquist of St. James, Minnesota and Donavon Palmquist and his wife Bailey of Stacyville, Iowa; one daughter, Melissa Hamsmith and her husband Robert of Ringsted, Iowa; one brother, William Brumley and his wife Nicie of Joplin, Missouri; two sisters, Kristi Laxton of Rocky Comfort, Missouri and Keri Pilcher of Stella, Missouri and eleven grandchildren.








Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Scott Brumley.

Mark graduated from McDonald County High School and then attended Crowder College and received his bachelor’s degree from Missouri Southern State University. He worked at various companies throughout his life which included La-Z-Boy, Ramey’s, Braum’s and Toys R Us.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 25, 2019 at Fox Cemetery in Powell, Missouri under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton, Missouri. Pastor John Mehrens will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. Thursday at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
