Donna Marie Hatfield was born December 31, 1965 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Tom and Karen (Bentrup) Nielson. She entered into rest on October 24, 2019 in Joplin, Missouri, following a sudden illness at the age of 53.
Donna worked as office manager for Haggard Excavation. She enjoyed hunting and horses and was of the Lutheran Faith.
Donna and James Hatfield were married on July 20, 1990 in Neosho and he survives.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Jessica Abel and husband, Jack of Neosho; her mother, Karen Hansen of Iowa; two sisters, Debbie Nielson of Olathe, Kansas and Diane Schellenburg of Bentondorf, Iowa and one grandson, Cadence Abel.
She is preceded in death by her father and brother in law, Steven Goslin.
Donna will be cremated and services will be announced.
