James Maxwell “Max” Leeper, of Lockwood, MO, departed this life on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, in his home at the age of 81.
He was born on December 20, 1937 in Lockwood, MO to Robert and Beulah (Maxwell) Leeper. Max worked throughout his life as truckdriver and a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed eating out, and staying busy with different projects.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert and Beulah Leeper; and his brother, Robert Nelson Leeper.
Survivors include his son, James Maxwell Leeper, Jr. of Branson, MO; two daughters, Betty Juneman of Branson, MO and Connie Bender of Albany, NY; his sister, Genie Smith of Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at the Lockwood United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be shared at www.greenfieldfuneralchapel.com. Cremation services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
