Hazel Marie Davidson, age 97 of Joplin, Mo. passed away early Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Joplin Gardens.
Hazel was born on April 2, 1922 in Lynn County, Ks., the daughter of Perry and Margaret (Stark) Johnson. She has been a long-time Joplin area resident. Hazel spent her days loving and caring for her family as a homemaker.
She married Howard Davidson in 1961, he preceded her in death in August of 1981. Hazel later married Sterling Woodrum, he also preceded her in March of 2008. Hazel was also preceded in death by her parents, by her son, John David Martin, and by her brother, Virgil Johnson.
Survivors include her two daughters; Karen Vreeland and husband Terry of Neosho, Mo., Sharon McPherson and husband Ben of Weatherford, Tx., seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Burial will follow at Osborne Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
