Norma Gay Aldenderfer, age 84, Joplin, passed away at her residence at 4:15 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2019 after a sudden illness.
Gay was born February 20, 1935 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to the late Floyd Dennis and Goldie Murphy and had lived in Joplin most of her life. A homemaker, Gay was a faithful member of the Joplin Church of Christ.
She married Thomas E. Aldenderfer in 1953 in Pryor, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 29, 1992.
Graveside services are planned for Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Osborne Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Richard Chambers will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
