Mary Walton

Mary M. Walton, age 83, of Webb City, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Walton, daughter of the late Guy and Thelma (Oliphant) Mobley, was born on May 8, 1936 in San Angelo, TX.

On March 20, 1956 in San Jose, CA, she was united in marriage to Harold Walton. Mary was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Through her church she was active in the Relief Society group and enjoyed quilting.








Survivors include her husband, Harold “Hal” Walton, of Webb City; two sons, Skylar Walton, and his wife, Susan, of Webb City, and Randal Walton, of Twain Harte, CA; two daughters, Shira Halrvi, of San Antonio, TX, and Julie Taylor, and her husband, Dan, of Price, Utah; one brother, Patrick Mobley, of CA; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Harold Walton III; and one brother, Buddy Mobley.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 4:00 pm at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin. Inurnment will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the mortuary on Monday, November 4th from 3:00 pm until service time.

Funeral and Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory, Joplin.
