Kenneth Allen, age 81, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born July 8, 1938 in Golden, Missouri, the son of Arthur and Nancy “Annie” (Collins) Allen, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his wife, Shirley Terry; one son, Terry Allen; his granddaughter, Milagrosa Angelina Martinez and eleven siblings.
Surviving are his first wife, Evelyn Booth of Cassville, Missouri; one son, Randy Allen of Fairview, Missouri; two daughters, Kim Durossette of Exeter, Missouri and Tracy Church of Golden, Missouri; three step-children; one sister, Lois Buckley of Douglass, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Lora Weathers, Makenzy Durossette, Stormi Allen, Cordale Writer, Sydney Allen, Frankie Martinez, Kindred Durossette and Jacee Durossette and one great granddaughter, Paislee Durossette.
Kenneth grew up and received his education in Blue Eye where he graduated from high school. For many years he was a restaurant owner and cook in the Golden/Eagle Rock area. He was extremely fond of his pets, Pancho and Speck. Some of his favorite pastimes were working, cooking and he enjoyed giving to others.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 14, 2019, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Brad Hudson will conduct the services. Burial will be at Arnhart Cemetery in Purdy, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
