Sam Nunn

Samuel Joseph Nunn was born February 25, 1922 in Mason Springs, Missouri, one of five children to Peter B. and Martha Carol (Roark) Nunn. He entered into rest on October 8, 2019 in Neosho, following an extended illness at the age of 97 years, 7 months and 13 days.

Sam graduated from Seneca High School and worked at Pet Milk for many years, retiring in the mid 1980's. He enjoyed working in his yard and listening to gospel music. He loved being with his family and was a very generous and loving person and was known at the 'card Angel' sending cards to his loved ones. 

Although Sam never married or had children of his own, his nieces and nephews felt his unconditional love. Sam was a member of Swars Prairie Baptist Church and was honored as being the oldest living member of the congregation. He also attended the Neosho First Baptist Church with his family. 

Sam is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Brooks Nunn and wife, Lucille, Nadine Bruton and husband, Charles, Marcelene Sreaves and husband, R and Max Nunn. 








He is survived by one sister in law, Sharon Nunn of Seneca; nieces and nephews, Ron Nunn and wife, Marti of Edmond, OK; Vicki Wade of Claremore, OK; Jeff Nunn and wife, Stephanie of Goodman and Rhonda Percival and husband, Donnie of Stella; great nieces and nephews, Stephen Hasting and wife, Deanna of Claremore, OK; Sarah Campbell and husband, Brandon of Claremore, OK; Jordan Wad of Claremore; Cameron Nunn and Jacob Nunn of Goodman; Matthew Percival and wife, Caitlin of Stella and Adam Percival of Seneca; grea great nieces and nephews, Grant Hastings, Zachary Mouse, Marcie Campbell, Madison Campbell, Kyle Campbell, Max Campbell, Rhett Percival, Tucker Max Percival and Annistyn Percival.
