Steva Wyatt

Steva Sue (Hilton) Wyatt of Webb City, Missouri passed from this life on Wednesday October 16, 2019 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, she was 89.

Steva was born on March 20, 1930 in Crane, Missouri to Clifford W. and Edrie Margarette (Rickman) Hilton. She lived in the area most of her life. She was a Line Worker for Berry Garment Factory for many years. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Baxter from 1945 to 1999 before moving her membership to First Assembly of God in Carl Junction. Steva was the Sunday School Secretary for 20 years, taught Children’s Bible School and made Peanut Brittle for 16 years and part of women’s ministry for 30 years. She also was the volunteer Janitor, sang solos and lead Children’s Music. She married Robert Adrian Wyatt in Baxter Springs, Kansas on May 6, 1948 he preceded her in death on March 6, 2019.








Survivors include two sons Randy Wyatt and wife Jennifer of Joplin, Missouri, Ronald Wyatt and wife Kelley of Tonganoxie, Kansas; daughter-in-law, Janice LeMasters and husband Rick of Jasper, MO. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Steva is preceded in death not only by her husband but also, her parents, a son Richard Dale Wyatt, a brother Eldon Hilton and a sister Betty Stephens.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 21, 2019 at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel in Baxter Springs, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Lowell Cemetery. A visitation will be held on the same day from 1:00-2:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to the Second Assembly of God in Joplin, Missouri.
