Deidre Jo “Dede” Sparkman of Fairland, OK passed from this life Monday, November 09, 2020 at her home. She was 74.

Dede was born November 7, 1946 in Mexico, MO to Elmer and Dorothea (Duffen) Tebeck. She had lived in Fairland for the past 20 years moving from Miami. Dede graduated from Miami High School Class of 1965 and attended N.E.O. A&M College in Miami, OK. She was a loan officer for many years working at area banks. She attended First Presbyterian Church in Miami, OK and was a member of the Kiwanis Club in Miami, OK, Shangri –la Ladies Golf Assn. and a former Miami Golf and Country Club member.

Dede was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Ron Sparkman of the home, 2 daughters Heather Davis of Welch, OK and Lauri Schmidt of Welch, OK, 1 step-son Johnny Sparkman of Miami, OK, 3 sisters Teresa Criss of Fairland, OK, Linda Hiersche of Edmond, OK and Cindy Holt of Seneca, MO, 5 grandchildren Heston Davis, Forest Davis, Cade Arnold, Todd Shores and Sarah Stubblefield and 2 great grandchildren Piper Stubblefield and Ryan Shores.

All services are private. A Celebration of Life will be held at the park at Aspen Wall at a later date for friends and family. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Grand Lake Shriner’s Children's Fund. Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
