Roberto Molina

Mr. Roberto Molina, 74, of Southwest City, Missouri departed this life on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

Roberto entered this life on November 10, 1945 in Laredo, Texas born to the late, Jose and Dominga (Prieto) Molina. He was a truck driver for the Laredo Independent School District. 

Roberto moved with his family to Southwest City, Missouri in 1990 and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, who will dearly be missed by all who knew him. He was of the Catholic faith. 








On March 17, 1965 he was united in marriage to Maria Amalia Lopez, she preceded him in death on August 30, 2010. 

Survivors include four sons, Roberto Molina, Jr., David Molina and wife, Alicia Martinez and Jose Alberto Molina and wife, Eliza Molina, all of Southwest City, Missouri and Ricky Molina and wife, Kimberly of Norman, Oklahoma; three daughters, Trinidad Serna, Elizabeth Molina and husband, Mario Rodriguez and Michelle Molina and husband, Jorge Garcia, all of Southwest City, Missouri; 23 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sister, Alicia Macias of Laredo, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services for Roberto Molina will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City, Missouri, with Father Charles Dunn officiating. 

Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Ricky Molina, Jose Alberto Molina, Roberto Molina, Jr., Demetrio Serna, David Molina and Mario Rodriguez. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 2:00 to 7:00 pm at the Southwest City Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home.
