Rose Goff

Mrs. Rose Irene Goff, 94, of Joplin, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday evening, November 7, 2020, at Spring River Christian Village in Joplin.

Rose entered this life on May 5, 1926, in Kansas City, Kansas, one of nine children born to the late Elmer and Ruth (Maxwell) Sullivan. 

On August 30, 1947, she was united in marriage to Donald W. Goff and to this union a daughter and two sons were born. For several years they resided in Shawnee, Kansas where they lovingly raised their family. Rose was a devoted homemaker throughout her life. After Donald’s retirement, they resided in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Branson, Missouri, Carl Junction, Missouri and later to Joplin in 1998. She enjoyed going to church and listening to gospel music. Rose was of the Assembly of God faith. 








She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty-six years, Donald Goff on March 28, 2014; a son Philip Goff; a grandson, Rusty Stark; and all eight of her siblings.

Rose is survived by her two children, Joyce Stark and husband, Glenn, of Joplin and Ronald Goff and wife, Ruthe, of Springhill, Kansas; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Private burial will be held at Osborne Cemetery in Joplin. Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
