(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Craig Lynn Schoenhals, age 54, of Nixa, MO, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 5, 2021. Craig was born on June 23, 1967, in Perryton, TX, to Roy Schoenhals and Fern (Whorton) Schoenhals.
Craig graduated from Carthage High School in 1985. He then graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Marketing and Management in 1989. He had a long career at Precious Moments where he worked 20 years before moving to Nixa, MO to work at the Doll Maker Dolls.
On November 4, 1995, Craig married Janna Watts and together they were blessed with three children Madison, Grant, and Connor. Craig loved traveling, hiking, skiing, and anything that involved being outdoors and spending time with his family. Craig was a lifelong dedicated Christian and a member of James River Church in Ozark, MO where he has attended for 11 years.
Craig is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Janna Schoenhals, Nixa, MO; one daughter, Madison Martin and husband Jedidiah, Jefferson City, MO; two sons, Grant Schoenhals, Nixa, MO, and Connor Schoenhals, Nixa, MO; mother, Lou Fern Schoenhals and husband Charles Lukens, Carthage, MO, and one sister, Debbie Stephens and husband Eddie, Carthage, MO.
Craig is preceded in death by his father, Roy Schoenhals.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Grace Pointe Assembly of God Church in Carthage, MO. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday evening at Grace Pointe Assembly of God Church in Carthage, MO. Burial will be in Jasper Cemetery in Reeds, MO. The Family would request that you wear a mask, but it is not required.
